Our family emigrated from Denmark a couple generations ago, bringing with them an old-world work ethic and the famous Scandinavian dedication to craftsmanship.
In the harsh winters along the coast of the North Sea quality craftsmanship wasn’t a luxury, it was essential for survival. Homes they built hundreds of years ago are still standing strong today. This is the same quality we are dedicated to building into every Johnson Construction project, whether it’s a one room upgrade or building a brand-new home.
My own story started right here in the Bellingham area.
I grew up working in our family construction business, Mount Baker Roofing. A company my father started and built into the largest residential and commercial roofing company in Whatcom County. I am a Certified Journeyman Carpenter with advanced construction related training and heavy equipment certification. I love building beautiful homes for our neighbors throughout Whatcom County. Homes that will be standing strong and beautiful hundreds of years from now just like those my ancestors built. That’s why our motto is “Built To Last!”
